Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have two venues for wining or dining: The Brigs of Tweed bar and restaurant, and the ShowBar entertainment venue – both are in the FunWorks amusement arcade. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
We have free-to-use cash machines next to Cook’s Fish and Chips and at the Mini Market. You can get cashback at the Mini Market and all of the bar areas (minimum spend applies).
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am. Please leave your key in the key box outside of the Reception's main doors. If you are a Haven direct guest, please leave hire goods in the holiday home. Private let guests please return your hire goods to the Launderette. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones, in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
Feel the sand between your toes with access direct from the park. The park is on top of a cliff with access to two beaches down steps - just be careful as the steps are quite steep. The sandy beach next to the golf course has a walkway down to the play park and another walkway accessible for buggies down to the beach.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. Please clean up after your dog – we have bins all around the park especially for this. Dogs are welcome on the beach all-year round.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception team on 01289 307113 our our Security team on 07775 921125 as we have trained first-aiders on the park.

Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Wonderstore.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. If a Haven direct guest, please leave hire goods in the holiday home. Private let guests please return your hire goods to the Launderette. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Head to the Holiday or Owners’ Reception (if you're an owner) to book your Service Wash. Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Running low on bread, nappies or – shock horror – teabags?! Our well-stocked Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up what you need, when you need it.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07775 921125.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Cook’s Fish & Chips for the seaside staple. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.

You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.

s the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in Brigs of Tweed and Reception. Our apps work on Wifi and 4G, and if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
