Helpful Hints & Tips
Activities
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Barbecues
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have three venues for wining or dining: The Brigghouse bar and restaurant, the Starlight Bar, and the Galaxy ShowBar entertainment venue. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
Beach access
Feel the sand between your toes down at Filey beach, just a three-mile car drive away. Or you can walk to it along the Cleveland Way. There are other beaches nearby too, just ask our team to find out more.
Buses
All aboard! Find bus stops next to the main entrance, the touring entrance and Reception. Buses run regularly to Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. Two services run: EYMS 120 and Shoreline 555. For more information about routes, please see the Reception team.
Car parking
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces near the main complex for those who need them.
Cash machines
We have three free-to-use cash machines – in the Mini Market, the FunWorks amusement arcade and at The Brigghouse. You can get cashback at the Mini Market and all of the bar areas (minimum spend applies).
Checking out
Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. You can leave your keys in our key box located on the drive out of the park. Please remember to return any hire goods to Reception. Once our team have confirmed the return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
Child safety
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones, in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Dogs
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
Driving
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
Emergencies
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01723 515155 or the Security team on 07714 836970 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Entertainment

Access to our entertainment venues is for Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
Feedback
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
Gifts
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Wonderstore.
Hire goods
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, pushchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please return your hire goods to Reception on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Keys
Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
Launderette
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Head to the Holiday or Owners’ Reception (if you're an owner) to book your Service Wash. Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the Launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the Launderette at a designated pick up time.
Lost property
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
Maintenance
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Mini Market
Running low on bread, nappies or – shock horror – teabags?! Our well-stocked Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up what you need, when you need it.
Park safety
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07714 836970.

Say cheese! If you get ‘papped’ by our professional photographer, you can buy the picture from the Wonderstore.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
Play Passes
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
Post
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
Prize shop
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our amusement arcade, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
Remote controls
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case
Security barrier
There’s a helpful team member looking after our security barrier by Reception between 8am and 6pm. For all other times, please use the main entrance.
Takeaway
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a BURGER KING®, Cook’s Fish & Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on many of our parks, just waiting for you to enjoy. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.

Tourist Information
Get to know the local area and find out where all the best hotspots are down at Reception. Our friendly team are on hand to share their insider tips and information. You’ll find lots of tourist leaflets there too.
Upgrades
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
Visitors
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
WiFi
Due to the remoteness of some of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have guest WiFi available in our main facilities. The My Haven App works on Wifi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
