Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they're complete put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have four venues for wining or dining: The Brigs of Ayr bar and restaurant, the Lighthouse Harbour Bar, the Live Lounge entertainment venue, and the Bonga Wonga entertainment venue. They can all be found in the FunWorks amusement arcade. Due to test and trace, we require you to book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
Buses run to and from Ayr every hour, and you can catch it from the main park, just outside Reception. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
Our cash machines are in Reception, outside Burger King, and in the Live Lounge, and they’re all free to use. Cashback is available in our Nisa convenience store and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. You can drop your keys at the Key Collection drop boxes which are situated in the main car park and at the main entrance to the park. Please remember to leave any hire goods in your accommodation. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
Direct beach access
Time to grab the buckets and spades! We have beach access right here on the park, through Kintyre View accommodation area.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome. Just keep them on a lead at all times. They are welcome on the beach all-year round and the Nature Trail around the golf course is a great place to walk your dog. Please use the bins provided to clear up after your pet. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01292 265 141 or Security teams on 07714 837015 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us in Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and Treasures gift shop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs and travel cots, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Head to the Holiday or Owners’ Reception (if you’re an owner) to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Nisa convenience store
Our Nisa convenience store is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07714 837015.

Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book activities, pools and entertainment venues, subject to availability. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to nan and grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
If you’re tripping over reams of arcade tickets, remember to exchange them for some great prizes before you leave. Our prize shops are in the FunWorks amusement arcade and the Bonga Wonga.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
Our Security team are at the main gate 24/7 – please have your holiday home key handy to show them when you enter the park and they’ll happily open it for you.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a BURGER KING®, Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. PAPA JOHN'S ® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.
If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets in Reception too.
Terrain of the park
The park as a whole has flat and inclined areas. The park is set on a side of a hill. All our accessible vans are in flat areas of the park, with dedicated car parking spaces alongside the holiday homes. The accessible holiday homes are only a short distance to the facilities. We have one accessible holiday home in Carnoustie Close which is on slight incline.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday park
s the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in Airspace and the Brigs of Ayr. Our apps work on Wifi and 4G, and if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
