Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have six venues: the Mash and Barrel restaurant, Bugsy’s and Capone’s entertainment venues, and our Sports Bar are all in the main complex. South Beach Café is next to the beach with access at the bottom of the park, and The Terrace is behind the Mash and Barrel. See your park map for the routes. For us to maintain a level of service for all our guests during these challenging times, please book to enjoy a table in our restaurants and this can be done on the My Haven app or at the Booking Station on park.
The no. 95 goes from the park and along the beach front to Exmouth train station. There are three bus stops on the park: at South Beach Café, next to the Reception car park and near the entrance by Nutwell Glade accommodation area.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex car park for those who need them.
Our cash machines are outside the Mini Market, at the complex entrance, and to the left of the stairs in the complex and they’re all free to use. Cashback is available in our Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. Please leave your key with security at the main gate as you depart. Please leave any hire goods in the holiday home at the end of your stay. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones, in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
There is a sandy beach accessible direct from the park next to the South Beach Café. Due to the gradient, this access is not ideal for wheelchair users or the infirm. There is, however, a local beach a short drive away in Exmouth Town suitable for wheelchair users.
We’re fond of dogs on site and most breeds are welcome. Just keep them on a lead at all times and use the bins provided to clear up after your pet. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues.
We’re strict about speed on site. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01395 226226 or our Security team on 07825 308896 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Bayview gift shop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, pushchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Pop into our Mini Market where you can buy tokens for the launderette, as well as washing powder.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07825 308896.
Say cheese! If you get ‘papped’ by our professional photographer, you can buy the picture from the photo shop ten minutes after the picture is taken. We recommend buying your photos on the day they are taken rather than the day you leave as the photo shop may not be open when you check out.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you information about local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book activities, pools and entertainment venues, subject to availability. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our FunWorkz amusement arcade, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a BURGER KING®, Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.
Terrain of the park
The Park is very hilly with inclines to all areas. The main complex is in a gully meaning all accommodation is uphill from the complex.

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.
Own up, who forgot to pack the towels? It’s okay, we provide towels (1 hand and 1 bath towel per person) in our Lodges, as well as Silver, Gold and Signature grades. Alternatively, you can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have guest WiFi available in the main complex. The My Haven app works on Wifi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
