Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have three venues for wining or dining: our Mash and Barrel restaurant, and Live Lounge entertainment venue are both in the FunWorks amusement arcade. And the newly refurbished The Saxon – where you can catch live sporting events while the kids enjoy the soft play area – it’s located towards the lower end of the park. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
There arethree shingle beaches in Hastings/St Leonards, between 6-10 minutes’ drive away.The nearest sandy beach is Camber Sands20 miles away; a 40-minute drive.
How about a spot of holiday pampering? We have a beautician based in The Saxon, so if you feel like treating yourself, come and see us at Reception where we can give you more information on how to book.
All aboard! The local bus service runs between Combe Haven and Hastings every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, and hourly on Sundays and bank holidays. If you need more information please ask at Reception.
Parking is available next to caravans or nearby. Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces near the main complex for those who need them.
We have three cash machines, and they’re in the FunWorks amusement arcade, next to Reception, and in The Saxon – and they’re all free to use.
Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. Please leave your holiday home key at the key drop outside of Reception or with the Security team as you leave. Please remember to either leave hire goods in your holiday home or bring back to Reception. When returned, deposits will be returned back to the card made to pay for the booking.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome. Just keep them on a lead at all times and use the bins provided to clear up after your pet. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01424 427891 or our Security team on 07834 677648 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.

Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Wondershop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please remember to either leave hire goods in your holiday home or bring back to Reception. When returned, deposits will be returned back to the card made to pay for the booking.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
Head to the Holiday Reception to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for seven days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Running low on bread, nappies or – shock horror – teabags?! Our well-stocked Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up what you need, when you need it.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07834 677648.

Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any prestamped post to us at Reception and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
Stay lucky – don’t forget to exchange your arcade tickets before you leave. Just pop down to our prize shop in the FunWorks amusement arcade.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a BURGER KING® and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.
Forgot your towels? Don’t drip dry! You can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in the Mash and Barrel restaurant. The My Haven app works on Wifi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
