Activities

To see what activities are on and to pre-book before your holiday, please visit the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 12 weeks before your arrival date. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point on park during your stay, subject to availability. If you want to book activities for your arrival day, please make sure bookings are made for after your arrival time or they may be cancelled. You can book your arrival day activities on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 7 days before your arrival date.

Activities are only available to our Holiday guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.

Arrival

Please see the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 7 days before arrival for your allocated check-in time.

Arriving late: please let us know on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience when you get your allocated arrival time. We will then know to expect you later.

Barbecues

Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.

Bars and restaurants

We have three venues for wining or dining: our Mash and Barrel restaurant, and Live Lounge entertainment venue are both in the FunWorks amusement arcade. And The Saxon – where you can catch live sporting events while the kids enjoy the soft play area – it’s located towards the lower end of the park. You can pre-book a restaurant table on the My Haven app or via haven.com/experience 12 weeks before your holiday or by visiting the restaurant once on park. There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Beach access

There are three shingle beaches in Hastings/St Leonards, between 6-10 minutes’ drive away. The nearest sandy beach is Camber Sands 20 miles away; a 40-minute drive.

Beautician

How about a spot of holiday pampering? We have a beautician based in The Saxon, so if you feel like treating yourself, come and see us at Reception where we can give you more information on how to book.

Buses

All aboard! The local bus service has a stop outside of the main entrance of the park and it runs between Combe Haven and Hastings every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, and hourly on Sundays and bank holidays. If you need more information, please ask at Reception.

Car parking

Parking is available next to caravans or nearby. Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces near the main complex for those who need them.

Cash machines

We have three cash machines, and they’re in the FunWorks amusement arcade, next to Reception, and in The Saxon – and they’re all free to use. Cashback is available in the Mini Market, The Saxon, Mash and Barrel and Live Lounge.

Checking out

Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. Please leave your holiday home key at the key drop outside of Reception or with the Security team as you leave. Please remember to either leave hire goods in your holiday home or bring back to Reception. When returned, deposits will be returned back to the card made to pay for the booking.

Dogs

We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome. Just keep them on a lead at all times and use the bins provided to clear up after your pet. Unfortunately, they cannot go in any of our indoor facilities or on our outdoor pool area but are allowed on the Mash and Barrel terrace. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside all of our venues.

Driving

We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.

Emergencies

If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01424 427891 or our Security team on 07834 677648 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.

Entertainment

Find out what’s on during your holiday four weeks before you arrive, go to the My Haven app or visit haven.com/experience There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Extend your stay

If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.

Feedback

It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.

Gifts

While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Wondershop.

Hire goods

For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival through your My Haven account, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please remember to either leave hire goods in your holiday home or bring back to Reception. When returned, deposits will be returned back to the card made to pay for the booking.

Holiday home ownership

Keys

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.

Launderette

If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Pop into our Mini Market where you can buy tokens for the launderette, as well as washing powder.

Lost property

If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for seven days, so you have plenty of time to check.

Maintenance

We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.

Mini Market

Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.

We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07834 677648.

Photo collection

Say cheese! If you get ‘papped’ by our professional photographer, you can buy the picture from the Wondershop, in the Live Lounge.

Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.

Play Passes

If you're on a Haven holiday break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Hideaway breaks.

Post

We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any prestamped post to us at Reception and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.

Prize shop

Stay lucky – don’t forget to exchange your arcade tickets before you leave. Just pop down to our prize shop in the FunWorks amusement arcade.

Remote controls

No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.

Special requirements and accessibility

If you have any questions or have special requests please contact our Call Centre prior to booking, where we have specially trained advisors who can help with every aspect of your booking. They can discuss the suitability of the park. If you have any questions while on the park, please ask the Reception team.

Swimming

We know that swimming is one of our most popular activities, so we have done everything we can to ensure as many of our guests get a chance to swim as possible.

For indoor swimming, you can book slots before and during your stay. From four weeks before your break start date, you'll be able to pre-book up to 14 swim slots per holiday booking. You'll also be able to book more slots once you arrive on park, should capacity allow.

Each swim slot lasts for 60 minutes and can be booked on the My Haven Experience app or at haven.com/experience. We're able to hold swim slots for up to 15 minutes, however if you fail to show after this time, the swim slot will be cancelled and given to another guest.

Takeaway

If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Burger King®, Papa John’s® and Cook’s Fish & Chips on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® and Burger King® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Whether you’re ordering for collection, delivery or to eat in, all takeaway orders can be made via My Haven app or haven.com/experience.

Terrain of the park

The park is mainly flat apart from Haven Terrace, where the top of this road is flat, but the road goes down a steep hill; and also High Haven, which is on the hill. Normandy, Saxony, Meadowbank, Blue Quarry and Riverside accommodation areas are at the bottom of the hill. The main facilities are at the top of the hill/park.

Tourist information

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.

Towels

Own up, who forgot to pack the towels? It’s okay, we provide towels (1 hand and 1 bath towel per person) in our Silver, Gold and Signature grade accommodation or you can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.

Upgrades

You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to receiving your arrival time. Please contact the park and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.

Visitors

To maximise the opportunity for guests to access the swimming pools, activities, entertainment venue and restaurants included in their holiday package, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be included on a valid holiday booking. Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity on our parks to allow our guests to bring visitors to our parks.

WiFi

Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in the Mash and Barrel restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no WiFi in accommodation. The My Haven Experience app works on Wifi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
