Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have two venues for wining or dining: our Mash and Barrel restaurant, and our Marina Bar and Stage entertainment venue, home to our FunStars, the Seaside Squad, and live acts. Both of these are in the main complex. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
Bikes and scooters
We welcome bikes and scooters on park, but would recommend using bike locks when left on park. These are left at the owners own risk. Similarly, in line with legislation and in accordance with health and safety advice, we only permit the use of electric scooters, segways, hoverboards or balance boards if they are part of an organised, on-park activity.
We want you to have fun at the park, but we need to ensure that we keep you safe. For that reason, we do not permit owners or guests to fly drones at the park.
All aboard! For bus routes, please ask at Reception.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them. Parking in our car park(s) is at your own risk. Greenacres will not accept responsibility for any damages, accident or losses.
You can find the cash machine opposite the entrance to the Mini Market. Cashback is available in our Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am and pop your key in the key drop off box by the main security gate. Please remember to leave any hire goods in your accommodation. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones, in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
Soak up the sea air! We have beach access right here on the park. There are two entrances: one at Dune Court/ Sands Lane, and the other at Pear Drive.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. Dogs are welcome on our Mash and Barrel terrace and on the outside decking area. Access is through the main Reception, past the soft play and through the double doors out onto the decking area. Dogs can also go on the beach, but must avoid the flagged areas, and they are also welcome on the nature reserve. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception team on 01766 512781 or Security team on 07899 918047. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception or Security teams as we have trained first-aiders on the park.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale in the Mini Market and the Wondershop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and a small deposit.
Head to the main Reception to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid anything, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed it in for you – we keep all lost property for 14 days. Please be assured that, even though we aren’t responsible for any lost property items we’re unable to locate, we’ll do our very best to reunite you with your belongings.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.

Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book activities, pools and entertainment venues, subject to availability. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so there’s a post box by the roundabout, near the car park.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.
Forgot your towels? Don’t drip dry! You can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in our Mash and Barrel restaurant. Our apps work on Wifi and 4G, and if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
