Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book before your holiday, please visit the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience four weeks before your arrival date. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point on park during your stay, subject to availability. If you want to book activities for your arrival day, please make sure bookings are made for after your arrival time or they may be cancelled. You can book your arrival day activities on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 7 days before your arrival date.
Activities are only available to our Holiday guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Please see the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 7 days before arrival for your allocated check-in time. Please do not arrive before your allocated check-in time. If you arrive outside of your designated time, we may kindly ask for you to wait until a member of team becomes available to assist.
Arriving late: please let us know on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience when you get your allocated arrival time. We will then know to expect you later.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have two venues for wining or dining: our Mash and Barrel restaurant, and our Marina Bar and Stage entertainment venue, home to our Entertainment Cast, the Seaside Squad, and live acts. Both of these are in the main complex. You can pre-book a restaurant table on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience, four weeks before your holiday or by visiting the restaurant once on park. There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bikes and scooters
We welcome non-electric bikes and scooters on park but would recommend using bike locks when left on park. These are left at the owners own risk. Similarly, in line with legislation and in accordance with health and safety advice, we only permit the use of electric scooters, segways, hoverboards or balance boards if they are part of an organised, on-park activity.
All aboard! For bus routes, please ask at Reception.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them. Parking in our car park(s) is at your own risk. Greenacres will not accept responsibility for any damages, accident or losses.
You can find the cash machine opposite the entrance to the Mini Market. Cashback is available in our Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am and pop your key in the key drop off box by the main security gate. Please remember to leave any hire goods in your accommodation. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones, in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
Soak up the sea air! We have beach access right here on the park. There are two entrances: one at Dune Court/ Sands Lane, and the other at Pear Drive.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. Dogs are welcome on our Mash and Barrel terrace and on the outside decking area. Access is through the main Reception, past the soft play and through the double doors out onto the decking area. Dogs can also go on the beach, but must avoid the flagged areas, and they are also welcome on the nature reserve. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
Electric vehicle (EV) charging points
We offer two communal chargers next to the astro turf area.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception team on 01766 512781 or Security team on 07899 918047. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception or Security teams as we have trained first-aiders on the park.
Find out what’s on during your holiday four weeks before you arrive by downloading the My Haven Experience app. There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale in the Mini Market and the Wondershop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, through your My Haven account to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and a small deposit.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Pop into our Mini Market where you can buy tokens for the launderette, as well as washing powder.
If you’ve mislaid anything, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed it in for you – we keep all lost property for 14 days. Please be assured that, even though we aren’t responsible for any lost property items we’re unable to locate, we’ll do our very best to reunite you with your belongings.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07899 918047.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven holiday break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Hideaway breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so there’s a post box by the roundabout, near the car park.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
Special requirements and accessibility
If you have any questions or have special requests please contact our Call Centre prior to booking, where we have specially trained advisors who can help with every aspect of your booking. They can discuss the suitability of the park. If you have any questions while on the park, please ask the Reception team.
Please book a session before coming to the swimming pool. You can pre-book up to 14 sessions per holiday booking from 4 weeks before your arrival date on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience. Alternatively, you can book sessions on park after you’ve arrived, subject to availability. After 6pm on a Friday and Saturday and after 6pm during school and bank holidays, a booking isn’t needed so you can just turn up at the pool. Please check opening times with the Activity and Leisure team.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Cook’s Fish and Chips and Papa John’s® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience
Terrain of the park
The park is flat.

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.
Own up, who forgot to pack the towels? It’s okay, we provide towels (1 bath towel per person) in our Silver, Gold and Signature grade accommodation or you can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to receiving your arrival time. Please contact the park and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To maximise the opportunity for guests to access the swimming pools, activities, entertainment venue and restaurants included in their holiday package, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be included on a valid holiday booking. Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity on our parks to allow our guests to bring visitors to our parks.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal is very limited. You may get signal near our Reception, but unfortunately it is very sporadic. Our apps work on Wifi and 4G, so if you do not have any signal, you can book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
