Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book before your holiday, please visit haven.com/experience four weeks before your arrival date. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point on park during your stay, subject to availability. If you want to book activities for your arrival day, please make sure bookings are made for after your arrival time or they may be cancelled. You can book your arrival day activities on haven.com/experience 7 days before your arrival date.
Activities are only available to our Holiday guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Please see haven.com/experience 7 days before arrival for your allocated check-in time. Please do not arrive before your allocated check-in time. If you arrive outside of your designated time, we may kindly ask for you to wait until a member of team becomes available to assist.
Arriving late: please let us know on haven.com/experience when you get your allocated arrival time. We will then know to expect you later.
The bright lights and excitement of our arcade awaits for all guests to enjoy. Our machines take cash so pick out all the loose change from behind the sofa before coming! Don’t worry if you don’t have spare pennies, we have machines to change money for you, so you’ll soon be playing.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have many venues for wining or dining: the Coast House, Pizza Deck, Cakery and GMS Glendower. Plus enjoy entertainment in the Cove and Boardwalk, home to our Entertainment Cast, the Seaside Squad, and live acts. You can pre-book a restaurant table at haven.com/experience, four weeks before your holiday or by visiting the restaurant once on park. There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bus number 3 runs from Pwllheli and Porthmadog every 30 minutes and the bus stop is at the park entrance. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
Our cash machines are in the main complex and in the south Mini Market (see your map). Cashback is available in our Mini Markets and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
When it’s time to say goodbye, please check out of your accommodation by 10am. Please pop your key in our key drop off box close to the roundabout on the way out of the park.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones (up to eight years old), in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
Time to grab the buckets and spades. We have direct access onto several sandy/rocky beaches
on Cardigan Bay. The main beach access is behind Llyn Village, but there are several others
on the park.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. We have a Bark Yard, an obstacle course for dogs; they’re also welcome on the beach all-year round; and on the Coast House outside terrace. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
Electric vehicle (EV) charging points
We offer two communal chargers next to the Coast House, and two within Llyn Village.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01758 612112 or our Security team on 07391 393271 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Find out what’s on during your holiday four weeks before you arrive by downloading the My Haven app. There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market, Quayside and Treasure Cove.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs and travel cots, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival through your My Haven account, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. On departure, please leave any hire goods in your accommodation. Hire goods deposits will be returned to the card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Pop into our Reception where you can buy tokens for the launderette, as well as washing powder.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.

Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you've chosen our Haven holiday package, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Hideaway breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so pop any pre-stamped post into the post box situated near Reception to the right of the doors.
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our amusement arcade, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
Special requirements and accessibility
If you have any questions or have special requests please contact our Call Centre prior to booking, where we have specially trained advisors who can help with every aspect of your booking. They can discuss the suitability of the park. If you have any questions while on the park, please ask the Reception team.
Please book a session before coming to the swimming pool. You can pre-book up to 14 sessions per holiday booking from 4 weeks before your arrival date on haven.com/experience. Alternatively, you can book sessions on park after you’ve arrived, subject to availability. After 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and after 6pm during school and bank holidays, a booking isn’t needed so you can just turn up at the pool. Please check opening times with the Activity and Leisure team.
Unfortunately, our flume will be closed until further notice.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Burger King®, Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on haven.com/experience
Terrain of the park
We’re situated on a coastal plain and most of our holiday homes are on flat terrain with some very gently sloping areas.

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets in Reception too.
Own up, who forgot to pack the towels? It’s okay, we provide towels (1 hand and 1 bath towel per person) in our Lodge and Silver, Gold and Signature grade accommodation or you can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to receiving your arrival time. Please contact the park and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To maximise the opportunity for guests to access the swimming pools, activities, entertainment venue and restaurants included in their holiday package, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be included on a valid holiday booking. Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity on our parks to allow our guests to bring visitors to our parks.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest in the Coast House, The Cove and Boardwalk entertainment venues and Reception. WiFi is limited in accommodation. Our WiFi is managed by an external company who aim to supply the best possible service, so if you do experience any difficulties, please visit support.wifinity.com.
