Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have our Lakeside Bay bar and restaurant for wining or dining, and the Marina Bar & Stage entertainment venue, home to our FunStars, the Seaside Squad, and live acts. Both venues are inside the main complex. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
We’re right on the coast and the tides and sands in Morecambe Bay can be unpredictable, but there are some lovely beaches nearby. Unfortunately, we do not have access to a beach from the park, only coastal walks. You’ll find nearby, sandy Roanhead with fabulous dunes (Sat Nav: LA16 7JF), or Bardsea Beach, which is a mix of sand and shingle (Sat Nav: LA12 9RB).
The nearest bus stop is one mile away in Flookburgh, and this is a limited local service. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
We have free-to-use cash machines in the main complex area and Mini Market. You can get cashback at the Mini Market and all of the bar areas (minimum spend applies).
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am and leave your key in the key box outside of Reception. Alternatively, please leave with the team on the Security gate. Please remember to return any hire goods to Reception. Once our team have confirmed the return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. All dogs are welcome on the decking outside the Lakeside Bay bar and restaurant. There’s a coastal walk around the park and dogs can also be walked on our golf course, and on our nature trails. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01539 558 556 and Security teams on 07534 741808 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please remember to return any hire goods to Reception. Once our team have confirmed the return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
Head to the Holiday Reception to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). There is limited availability. Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.
Make a splash! Join us for water sports at the lake. Please book your watersports in advance on the Haven What’s On app or at the Activity Booking Point.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07534 741808.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our amusement centre, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. PAPA JOHN'S ® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.
Terrain of the park
The park is flat.
If you want to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets in Reception too.
Forgot your towels? Don’t drip dry! We provide towels in our Platinum grade accommodation, or you can hire them from Reception, for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in Lakeside Bay and Reception. Our apps work on WiFi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have treats, trinkets, and tasty titbits available to buy from the Wondershop.
