Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have three venues for wining or dining: the Mash and Barrel restaurant, and the Carousel and Live Lounge entertainment venues, home to our FunStars, the Seaside Squad, and live acts. All venues are inside the main complex. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
A bus service runs every 30 minutes from the bus stop at the entrance to the park. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
Our cash machines are inside the main complex and Mini Market. Cashback is available in our Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am and return any hired items to Reception. Please post your keys in the drop box outside the Security hut at the park exit.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones (up to 8yrs), in case they wander off. Come and see us at the indoor pool and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
Time to grab the buckets and spades! We have beach access points right here in the park, which are marked on your park map. Most of our access points have a step at the end – if you need a flat route, please use the access point near the Ranger Station. We also have a disabled access in the Ffrith area that is a much flatter access to the beach, which goes straight onto sand at the end.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01745 856471 or our Security team on 07714 836993 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
Rest your feet! Our Fun Bus takes you to the main complex; just wait at one of the designated areas to be collected - cost is 50p a person.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, pushchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership
Want to stay again and again with us? Pop into our Caravan Sales Reception, for information about owning your very own holiday home here.
Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
Head to the Holiday Reception to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for seven days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 01745 855116 / 07714 836993.
Say cheese! If you get ‘papped’ by our professional photographer, you can buy the picture from the Fun Shop in the Carousel entertainment venue.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book activities, pools and entertainment venues, subject to availability. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so why not pop it in the post at the post box outside the mini market.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a BURGER KING®, Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. PAPA JOHN'S ® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.
Terrain of the park
The park is flat.
Surf’s up dude! Stay safe and tide alert with up-to-date tidal times at the beach access point behind the main complex. Or search for the ‘My Tide Times’ app to get live, local updates.
If you want to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in the Mash and Barrel restaurant. The My Haven app works on Wifi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
Your next holiday
The early booker catches the worm. Beat the post-holiday blues by booking your next holiday before you leave. Just pop into Reception to find out about our latest deals.
