Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book before your holiday, please visit haven.com/experience four weeks before your arrival date. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point on park during your stay, subject to availability. If you want to book activities for your arrival day, please make sure bookings are made for after your arrival time or they may be cancelled. You can book your arrival day activities on haven.com/experience 7 days before your arrival date.
Activities are only available to our Holiday guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Please see haven.com/experience 7 days before arrival for your allocated check-in time. Please do not arrive before your allocated check-in time. If you arrive outside of your designated time, we may kindly ask for you to wait until a member of team becomes available to assist.
Arriving late: please let us know on haven.com/experience when you get your allocated arrival time. We will then know to expect you later.
The bright lights and excitement of our arcade awaits for all guests to enjoy. Our machines take cash so pick out all the loose change from behind the sofa before coming! Don’t worry if you don’t have spare pennies, we have machines to change money for you, so you’ll soon be playing.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
If you’re looking for a venue for wining or dining, you’ve come to the right place! We have the Mash and Barrel restaurant, which is next to the main complex and our ShowBar and Live Lounge entertainment venues – also inside the main complex. And don’t forget our Seaside Treats eatery, located by The Lakehouse. You can also experience great dining at The Lakehouse, which is just by the fishing lake – make sure you pay a visit before you leave! You can pre-book a restaurant table at haven.com/experience, four weeks before your holiday or by visiting the restaurant once on park. There will be no table bookings in entertainment venues and tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The bus stop is outside Reception, and buses run hourly to Filey, Scarborough, and Bridlington. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces near the main complex for those who need them.
Our cash machines are in the main complex and the Mini Market, and they’re free to use. Cashback is available in our Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. You can leave your keys in the deposit boxes outside of the main Reception and at the main gate. Please remember to leave any hire goods in your accommodation. Once our team have confirmed the collection and return of the hired goods, we will refund the deposit back onto the card that the payment was made from.
Time to grab the buckets and spades! We have beach access points right here in the park: make your way to the beach down a sloping path – it’s quite steep, so please be careful.
Direct beach access
Head down to the large sandy beach for a spot of sandcastle making or a paddle in the sea. The slope’s quite steep so please take care as you make your way.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Dogs are welcome on the following outside areas: Mash and Barrel decking area, and Lakehouse bar and restaurant terrace, beach, clifftop and around our lake area. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
Electric vehicle (EV) charging points
We offer a communal charging point outside of Reception.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01723 513771 or our Security team on 07743 891227 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.

Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Fun Shop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, pushchairs and travel cots, subject to availability and a £12 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival through your My Haven account, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Pop into our Reception where you can buy tokens for the launderette, as well as washing powder.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07743 891227.

Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven holiday break, Play Passes give you access to book activities, pools and entertainment venues, subject to availability. Play Passes are not included in Haven Hideaway breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our amusement arcade, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
Special requirements and accessibility
If you have any questions or have special requests please contact our Call Centre prior to booking, where we have specially trained advisors who can help with every aspect of your booking. They can discuss the suitability of the park. If you have any questions while on the park, please ask the Reception team.
Please book a session before coming to the indoor swimming pool. You can pre-book up to 14 sessions per holiday booking from 4 weeks before your arrival date on haven.com/experience. Alternatively, you can book sessions on park after you’ve arrived, subject to availability. After 6pm on a Friday and Saturday and after 6pm during school and bank holidays, a booking isn’t needed so you can just turn up at the pool. Please check opening times with the Activity and Leisure team.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Burger King®, Cook’s Fish and Chips and Papa John’s® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. Papa John’s® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on haven.com/experience

The park is flat.

If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets at Reception too.
Own up, who forgot to pack the towels? It’s okay, we provide towels (1 hand and 1 bath towel per person) in our Silver, Gold and Signature grade accommodation or you can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to receiving your arrival time. Please contact the park and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To maximise the opportunity for guests to access the swimming pools, activities, entertainment venue and restaurants included in their holiday package, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be included on a valid holiday booking. Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity on our parks to allow our guests to bring visitors to our parks.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We don't have free guest WiFi available on park. The My Haven app works on 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
