Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book before your holiday, please visit the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 12 weeks before your arrival date. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point on park during your stay, subject to availability. If you want to book activities for your arrival day, please make sure bookings are made for after your arrival time or they may be cancelled. You can book your arrival day activities on my Haven Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 7 days before your arrival date.
Activities are only available to our Holiday guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Please see the My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience 7 days before arrival for your allocated check-in time.
Arriving late: please let us know on haven.com/experience when you get your allocated arrival time. We will then know to expect you later.
The bright lights and excitement of our arcade awaits for all guests to enjoy. Our machines take cash so pick out all the loose change from behind the sofa before coming! Don’t worry if you don’t have spare pennies, we have machines to change money for you, so you’ll soon be playing.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
Wine and dine at our New England-style bar and restaurant, which you’ll find inside The Manor House complex.You can pre-book a restaurant table on the My Haven app or via haven.com/experience, 12 weeks before your holiday or by visiting the restaurant once on park
We only have one venue for entertainment and eating, meaning that both our Haven Holiday and Hideaway guests will both be able to watch light entertainment while having your meal. We offer a small entertainment programme here at Lydstep Beach with more to enjoy on Friday and Saturday and during bank and school holidays.
The local bus service runs hourly, and the bus stop is a very short walk from the park entrance. Our Reception team can give you more information, and provide you with a bus timetable.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in The Manor House complex for those who need them. If you have a second vehicle, you can park this in one of the main car parks.
Our cash machine is in The Manor House complex area and the Mini Market. Cashback is available in the Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am and return any hired items to Reception. On departure, please pop your key in the drop box located near to our park entrance.
We can’t give you eyes in the back of your head, but we can give you a brightly coloured wristband for little ones (up to 8yrs), in case they wander off. Come and see us at Reception and we’ll add your contact details to it.
Direct beach access
We have beach access right here on the park.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome. Just keep them on a lead at all times and use the bins provided to clear up after your pet. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. Dogs are allowed on beach but between 1 May - end of Sept and need to be on the righthand side of the slipway. There are coastal path walks from the park. The front of the complex bar terrace allows dogs.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
Electric vehicle (EV) charging points
Unfortunately, we do not provide this service. The closest location to charge your electric vehicle nearby is Multi Storey Car Park, SA70 7DW
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01834 871871 or our Security team on 07968 104391 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.
Find out what’s on during your holiday four weeks before you arrive, go to the My Haven app or visit haven.com/experience. Tables at Lydstep Beach, for entertainment, do need to be booked as the bar and restaurant are in same room as entertainment.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival through your My Have account, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
If you’ve had a big adventure, you might need a washing machine to clean you up again. Pop into our Mini Market where you can buy tokens for the launderette, as well as washing powder.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07968 104391.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven holiday break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Hideaway breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
If you can’t find the TV remote, you can operate your television from the set itself. Or give us a call in Reception as we may have a spare one.
Special requirements and accessibility
If you have any questions or have special requests please contact our Call Centre prior to booking, where we have specially trained advisors who can help with every aspect of your booking. They can discuss the suitability of the park. If you have any questions while on the park, please ask the Reception team.
We know that swimming is one of our most popular activities, so we have done everything we can to ensure as many of our guests get a chance to swim as possible.
For indoor swimming, you can book slots before and during your stay. From four weeks before your break start date, you'll be able to pre-book up to 14 swim slots per holiday booking. You'll also be able to book more slots once you arrive on park, should capacity allow.
Each swim slot lasts for 60 minutes and can be booked on the My Haven Experience app or at haven.com/experience. We're able to hold swim slots for up to 15 minutes, however if you fail to show after this time, the swim slot will be cancelled and given to another guest.
Terrain of the park
The park slopes down to the beach/bay, so some accommodation areas are hilly. The main venues are on a flat area.
Surf’s up dude! Stay safe and tide alert with up-to-date tidal times which you can find in the free magazine, Coast to Coast, which you can pick up in Reception.
If you want to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets in the Launderette too.
Own up, who forgot to pack the towels? It’s okay, we provide towels (1 hand and 1 bath towel per person) in our Lodge and Silver, Gold and Signature grade accommodation or you can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to receiving your arrival time. Please contact the park and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To maximise the opportunity for guests to access the swimming pools, activities, entertainment venue and restaurants included in their holiday package, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be included on a valid holiday booking. Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity on our parks to allow our guests to bring visitors to our parks.
The park have very limited WiFi signal. There is no WiFi signal in accommodation but we do have free guest WiFi available in The Manor House and Reception. If you are having trouble accessing our app or website, see above in 'Booking things to do' on how else you can book.
