Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have four venues for wining or dining: Cakery, Coast House restaurant, Pizza Deck and Marina Bar & Stage entertainment venue, home to our FunStars, the Seaside Squad, and live acts. All venues are inside the main complex.
We have direct beach access. There is direct access via the boardwalk at the Coast House. You can also access from the park entrance. Pop across the road and enjoy the walk through the flat sand dunes to the beach.
Buses run from Great Yarmouth Racecourse, which is a 10-minute walk from the park. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
Cash machines and e-top up
Our cash machines are in the Nisa convenience store, on the outside wall of the main complex, and just inside the Oodles family amusements centre, and they’re all free to use. Cashback is available in the Nisa convenience store and all bar areas (minimum spend applies), and you can e-top up for pay-as-you-go mobile phones from Nisa too.
All good things come to an end – please check out by 10am. Please pop your keys into the key drop off box outside of the Holiday Reception, or with Security at the gate.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside our venues. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 10mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01493 851131 or our Security team on 07714 836998 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call our Security team.

Access to our entertainment venues is for Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us in Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale in the Nisa convenience store and Wondershop.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, pushchairs, travel cots and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

Need an additional key for your holiday home? Pop into Reception and we’ll be happy to help – extra keys are subject to availability and require a deposit.
Head to the Holiday Reception to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the ‘Drop off Point’ sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Nisa convenience store
Running low on bread, nappies or – shock horror – teabags?! Our well-stocked convenience store is open every day, so you can pick up what you need, when you need it.Just call 01493 850886.
We want you to feel safe and secure on park. So if there’s anything worrying you at night or you need our help out-of-hours, please call our Security team on 07714 836998.
Say cheese! If you get ‘papped’ by our professional photographer, you can buy the picture from the Box of Tricks gift shop.
Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book all the good stuff, like activities, swimming pools and entertainment venues. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so drop in any pre-stamped post to us at Reception, and we’ll make sure it gets off for you.
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our amusement arcade, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If the barrier is down, slowly drive up to it and it will open for you. It’s locked from 1am - 6am, so if you wish to use it between these times, please call Security who’ll happily open it for you.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a BURGER KING® and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. PAPA JOHN'S ® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.
If you’re looking to explore the area, find a cracking local restaurant, or discover a nearby hidden gem, our Reception team can offer tips, advice, and recommendations. We have loads of tourist leaflets in Reception too.
Forgot your towels? Don’t drip dry! You can hire some from Reception for a small charge and deposit.
You will need to arrange any upgrade prior to selecting your arrival time. Please contact the park before choosing your arrival slot and they will be happy to discuss upgrade options with you.
To ensure we continue to follow all Government guidelines around track and trace, all holidaymakers visiting our parks must be pre-booked Haven guests. This means we are unfortunately unable to allow our guests to bring visitors on to our parks at this time. As guidelines change all the time, we would recommend you check back here closer to your arrival.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in the Marina Bar and Stage and Reception. The My Haven app works on Wifi and 4G, however if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
