Helpful Hints & Tips
To see what activities are on and to pre-book, please visit haven.com/experience. You can also book activities at the Activity Booking Point. Activities are only available to our Stay+Play guests, Private Let guests who have purchased a Play Pass and our owners. Please bring your Play Pass or Privilege Card with you. We reserve the right to refuse access if you cannot show a valid pass or card.
Get your sizzle on in safety. Please keep barbecues away from holiday homes, verandas and the external gas bottles. They must be also be elevated and please use a non-disposable barbecue. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.
Bars and restaurants
We have four venues for wining, dining, or dancing the night away: Surf Bay and Funky Fish restaurants offer delicious, locally-sourced dishes; the Live Lounge entertainment venue is home to our FunStars, the Seaside Squad, and live acts; and ifthere’s a can’t-miss football game while you’re here, you can
catch all Premier League matches in Coast Bar. Due to test and trace, we require that you book a table in our venues and this can be done on the My Haven app.
There is a bus stop close to the touring reception/near the main entrance and buses go to Truro and Newquay. If you need any information on local bus routes, please see the Reception team.
Our grassy areas are important to us. Please avoid parking on them and use the dedicated space next to, or near your holiday accommodation. Please also be considerate of your neighbours too. We have Blue Badge spaces in the main complex for those who need them.
Our cash machines are next to Papa John’s Pizza and in the FunWorks amusement arcade. Cashback is available in our Mini Market and all bar areas (minimum spend applies).
Don’t go just yet! But if you have to, please remember check out is by 10am. You can leave your keys with the Security team at the gate between 6am and 7pm. Alternatively, you can drop your keys at Reception or pop them through the key box outside Surf Bay and Reception. Please remember to leave any hired goods in your accommodation. Once returned, the deposit will be paid back onto the same card used to make the payment.
Direct beach access
Time to grab the buckets and spades! We have beach access points right here in the park. Enjoy the beautiful views of Perranporth Beach and Penhale Sands. Please be careful: access to the beach is via a very steep pathway.
We’re fond of dogs on park and most breeds are welcome, just keep them on a lead at all times. Guide and service dogs are welcome inside all our venues, all other dogs are welcome inside the Coast bar. We allow dogs on the nature reserve, and dogs are allowed on the beach but must be on a lead between May - end of August. We have bins around the park for cleaning up after your pet.
We’re strict about speed on park. Please stick to 7.5mph when you’re driving around.
If you have an emergency, please call 999 and then our Reception and Security teams. This way we can direct them straight to you and come to your aid while you wait. If it’s not an emergency but you’d still like help, please call our Reception on 01872 573 551 or our Security team on 07811 874328 as we have trained first-aiders on the park. Out-of-hours, please call or Security team.
Extend your stay
If you’d like to stay a little longer, come and see us at Reception and we can check availability and prices for you.
It’s always good to hear how we could have made your holiday even better. But if you have anything you’d like to tell us, pop into Reception for a chat.
While you’re busy making memories, you might want a little memento of your trip. We have holiday gifts, treats and essentials on sale at the Mini Market and the Wonderstore.
For a small charge, we have to hire: bed guards, highchairs, pushchairs, travel cots, ironing boards and irons, subject to availability and a £10 deposit for each hire good item. We recommend you book in advance of arrival, to avoid disappointment, but if you haven’t please pop to Reception and we’ll check availability for you. Please leave your hire goods in your accommodation on departure and your deposit will be refunded to the same card used to make the payment.
Holiday home ownership

If you need extra keys for your holiday home, pop into Reception and we’ll see what we can do. Extra keys are subject to availability and a £10 deposit.
Head to the Holiday Reception to book your Service Wash (washing powder is included). Then drop off the laundry in the bag provided at the 'Drop off Point' sign outside the launderette. Your washed and tumble-dried washing will then be available to collect from the launderette at a designated pick up time.
If you’ve mislaid a pair of swimming trunks, or Ted the Bear has gone missing, pop into Reception and we’ll see if someone has handed them in for you. We keep all lost property for 14 days, so you have plenty of time to check.
We want your holiday to be tip-top. If you find any niggles when you arrive, please tell us straight away. Let us know if you don’t want a team member to come in if you’re not there, and please tell us if you have any dogs in your accommodation as we won’t be able to come in without you.
Our Mini Market is open every day, so you can pick up any essentials.
Please note, due to national on-going supply issues, there may be occasions where our supermarkets are running low on some items of stock and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in advance.

Places of worship
Our Reception team can give you any information you need on local places of worship.
If you're on a Haven Stay+Play break, Play Passes give you access to book activities, pools and entertainment venues, subject to availability. Play Passes are not included in Haven Stay breaks.
We know how important a postcard to Nan and Grandad is when you’re on holiday, so there’s a post box next to the play area opposite reception/by the mini market.
If you’ve been lured by the bright lights of our amusement arcade, don’t forget to trade in your tickets at our prize shop before you leave.
No luck finding the TV remote? You can operate it from the set itself. We may even have another one at Reception so it’s worth asking just in case.
If you can’t have a takeaway on holiday, when can you? We have a Cook’s Fish and Chips and PAPA JOHN'S® on our park, just waiting for you to enjoy. PAPA JOHN'S ® will also deliver directly to your accommodation if required. Please order your takeaway on the My Haven app.
Terrain of the park
The park is undulating and there are areas of sand dunes. There are flat areas: Pentreath View, Cribbar Cove, Fairings, West Dunes, Atlantic Heights and Ocean Breeze. There are hilly areas and these are: Piran Point, the chalet areas and Chyanmore. It is a steep walk down to the beach.

Upgrades aren’t just for aeroplanes! Should you wish to upgrade your accommodation, pop into Reception to check availability and prices.
Due to the remoteness of our holiday parks the WiFi signal can vary. We do have free guest WiFi available in our main facilities. Our apps work on Wifi and 4G and if you do not have any signal, you can always book your activities with our Activity and Leisure team at the Activity Booking Point.
