We know that there can be a lot to think of when getting ready for your holiday. Below we hope to answer any questions you may have ahead of your arrival and ensure you have a fab holiday with us!
What happens on arrival?
When you arrive, a member of our team will be on hand to meet you at the park entrance where you will be initially checked in using your registration. You'll then be able to make your way to your pitch.
Parking and driving on park
You will either be able to park next to your pitch, or in a communal area a short distance away. Please drive at 10mph so that we can have a safe and relaxing environment.
Your pitch area
For the enjoyment and safety of all our guests, when pitching-up please remember to check that your accommodation is six metres away from the next pitch, and that any awning and tent guy ropes (if applicable) are within your booked pitch area. We’d appreciate it if you could help us to look after the touring area by using a breathable groundsheet. If you do not have a breathable groundsheet and are staying for more than three days, we would be grateful if you could please assist us by lifting your groundsheet for a few hours when you can, to allow the grass to breathe.
What to bring? (just a few suggestions)
The lead-up to your holiday is always exciting and we don’t want you to forget anything, so here’s a little checklist:
- Washing-up bits
- Water containers if you are on a pitch without a water connection
- A sterilised water can; useful for filling up as we don’t have motorhome points
- Torch to help find your pitch
- Spare pegs and mallet if you are camping or have an awning
- Cables and splashproof UK campsite safety plugs (not standard three-pin household version) if you are staying on a pitch with electric hook-up
- BBQ – enjoy cooking al fresco (just be cautious of flammable items such as tents and gas containers)
- Swimming kits and sports gear so you can enjoy all the activities on your holiday
Please note: We do not allow fuel generators
Hire holiday essentials from us!
We have a range of hire goods available with a £10 refundable deposit. Give us a call to hear the full list.
All touring facilities will return to normal for 2022 with no one-way systems and no limit on how many people can enter at any given time.
We'll still be cleaning all facilities thoroughly at regular intervals during manned hours and kindly ask guests to sanitise and wash their hands regularly using the sanitising stations provided.
If you fancy treating yourself to a meal out whilst on holiday with us, here’s everything you need to know about how to book a table at one of our restaurants.
Bookings will open four weeks from the start of your holiday and you’ll be able to book tables for the duration of your break on the My Haven app or via haven.com/experience.
Don’t worry if you don’t know in advance when you’d like to eat as we’ll also be able to take restaurant bookings on park.
From Papa John’s to Burger King, there’s plenty of takeaway options available across our parks if you don’t feel like cooking.
Whether you’re ordering for collection, delivery or to eat in, all takeaway orders can be made via My Haven Experience app or haven.com/experience.
To make planning your holiday as easy as possible, activity bookings for guests will open four weeks from the start of your holiday e.g. if you’re due to arrive with us on Friday 1st July, bookings will open on Friday 3rd June and you’ll be able to book for the entire duration of your break.
You’ll be able to make your bookings via the My Haven Experience app or at haven.com/experience and will be able to book both free and paid for activities. Activity bookings can also be made once you arrive on park, however due to limited capacity, we’d always recommend booking in advance to ensure you get everything you’re after!
If you want to book activities for your arrival day, please make sure bookings are made for after your arrival time or they may be cancelled. Please note, you’ll be able to book activities for your first day via the Activity Booking Point on park once you’ve checked in (subject to availability).
From splashing about in our pools, to speeding down our slides or taking it easy on our lazy rivers, swimming is one of the most popular activities across our parks! For our 2022 season, we have added lots more swim slots across our parks to give all our guests lots of opportunity to swim.
Below you can find everything you need to know about how and when to book:
Booking swim slots
Booking will open four weeks from the start of your holiday and you’ll be able to book swim slots for the entire duration of your stay.
Guests will be able to book up to 14 swim slots per holiday booking in advance and can do this via the My Haven Experience app or on haven.com/experience
Pre-booking is only required for our indoor pools up to 6pm. During weekends (Friday and Saturday) and during school and bank holidays, there is no need to book swim sessions after 6pm and you'll be able to just turn up and swim, subject to availability.
If you are wanting to swim in our standalone outdoor pools only, then there’s no booking required for any time of day and you’ll be able to turn up when you’re ready and we’ll get you in as quickly as we can.
You’ll also able to book swimming slots once you arrive on park, should there be additional slots available.
And don’t forget anyone visiting our pools will need to bring their Play Passes with them!
From amazing shows to interactive quizzes, there’s never a dull moment in our entertainment venues!
There is no booking required to enter our venues and you’re free to come and watch the shows as you please – but don’t forget to bring your Play Pass! We’ll have both table seating and standing at the bar available and will operate a first come first serve basis for the venues should we become a little busy.
If you want to find out what shows we’ve got running ahead of visiting our venues, you’ll be able to check out our entertainment guides on the My Haven Experience app or at haven.com/experience. Guides will be available for each park and you’ll be able to access them four weeks in advance of your break
Our Mini Market is open every day so you can pick up any essentials.
