We know that there can be a lot to think of when getting ready for your holiday. Below we hope to answer any questions you may have ahead of your arrival! We hope you have a fab holiday with us!
What happens on arrival?
When you arrive, a member of our team will be on hand to meet you at the park entrance where you will be initially checked in using your car registration. You'll then be able to make your way to your pitch.
Parking and driving on park
You will either be able to park next to your pitch, or in a communal area a short distance away. Please drive at 10mph so that we can have a safe and relaxing environment.
Your pitch area
For the enjoyment and safety of all our guests, when pitching-up please remember to check that your accommodation is six metres away from the next pitch, and that any awning and tent guy ropes (if applicable) are within your booked pitch area. We’d appreciate it if you could help us to look after the touring area by using a breathable groundsheet. If you do not have a breathable groundsheet and are staying for more than three days, we would be grateful if you could please assist us by lifting your groundsheet for a few hours when you can, to allow the grass to breathe.
What to bring? (just a few suggestions)
The lead-up to your holiday is always exciting and we don’t want you to forget anything, so here’s a little checklist:
- Washing-up bits
- Water containers if you are on a pitch without a water connection
- A sterilised water can; useful for filling up as we don’t have motorhome points
- Torch to help find your pitch
- Spare pegs and mallet if you are camping or have an awning
- Cables and splashproof UK campsite safety plugs (not standard three-pin household version) if you are staying on a pitch with electric hook-up
- BBQ – enjoy cooking al fresco (just be cautious of flammable items such as tents and gas containers)
- Swimming kits and sports gear so you can enjoy all the activities on your holiday

Shower and toilet facilities
You may notice that we've introduced one-way systems and revised entrance and exits at your touring facilities and, where possible, we will keep doors to public places open. There may also be a restriction to the number of facilities available and how many people can enter at any given time to ensure social distancing.
The facilities will be closed and cleaned thoroughly at regular intervals during manned hours. We ask that you please sanitise and wash your hands regularly using the sanitising stations on each entrance and exit. We're afraid that hair drying and straightening facilities will not be available at this time.
Dishwashing & freezer facilities
We ask that you please sanitise and wash your hands regularly using the sanitising stations on each entrance and exit. The dishwashing facilities will be closed and cleaned thoroughly at regular intervals during manned hours. There may also be a restriction to the number of facilities available and how many people can enter at any given time to ensure social distancing. We regret that we cannot offer a freezer service at this time.
We ask that you please sanitise your hands regularly using the sanitising station at this facility. Elsan points will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Many of us will be well aware of the social distancing measures at supermarkets and shops, and the same applies to Haven's too. We've increased the range of groceries available including a wider selection of fresh produce and dine-in meal deals.
Please note that it is mandatory in England and Scotland to wear face coverings in our supermarkets and shops on parks in line with Government instruction. Face coverings are also mandatory in all indoor venues in England. You'll find hand sanitisers at the entrance of our shops and will be wiping our hand baskets with anti-viral cleansers after every use. A queuing system will be in place to manage the amount of people in the supermarket at any given time. Please check the useful information leaflet in your welcome pack for opening times.
You've definitely earned a break away, so why not take a break from cooking too? All our takeaway food and drink outlets such as Burger King, Papa John's Pizza and Cook's Fish and Chips (outlets vary by park), have a brand new online ordering service, making it quick and easy to order your takeout treat.
You will have the choice of collection or delivery (where available) when you place your online order. If you choose to collect, just select a collection time. We ask that you follow the queuing system guidance at all of our takeaway restaurants. If you are coming to collect a takeaway please be assured that we are regularly cleaning areas such as counter tops and door handles with anti-viral cleaning products. However, if you feel that you may have developed symptoms of Coronavirus we ask that you take the following steps to best support you, your family and other guests on park.
- Call reception or park security with your location and pitch number We will need to record that you have potential symptoms, so please ensure you call our team so we can support you
- If you are well enough to travel, you will be asked to go home to self-isolate, avoiding public transport
- Should you feel too unwell or be unable to leave, we will ask you to self- isolate in your accommodation and we will support you as appropriate

Entertaining days and nights
You will receive some information on the entertainment available to you during your stay within your pre-arrival emails and you can also download the Haven What’s On app to keep up to date.
What time do I have to leave the park?
On the day of departure we ask that all our guests leave their holiday homes by 10am and drop their keys into the buckets provided on the way out.
What to do if you're feeling unwell
We hope that your holiday will be the relaxing break that you've been hoping for, but we know that there may be a chance that you become unwell. Please be aware we have first aiders on park who will be on hand to help should the need arise. They will observe social distancing measures where possible and will wear PPE to protect both you and themselves.
