What do I need to know about booking swimming? - Golden Sands

The heated indoor pool and heated outdoor pool are separate facilities at our park. Our indoor pool is open all season and requires guests to pre-book a swimming slot via haven.com/experience or the My Haven app. Our outdoor pool does not need to be pre-booked and is available to use between the end of May and August Bank Holiday (weather dependent). 


Indoor facilities such as the toilets, lockers and changing cubicles are only available to guests who have pre-booked a swimming session for the indoor pool. We do have outdoor changing rooms, but due to the limited outdoor pool facilities, it is advisable to arrive to the outdoor pool pool-ready.  


Each person wanting to swim will be required to book a swim slot. Each holiday booking will receive 14 swim slots which can be pre-booked before you arrive. Additional swim slots can be booked (subject to availability) at the pool reception once you are at the park. Under 5s do not require a Play Pass but will need a slot booked for them. 


Swimming sessions are bookable 28 days (4 weeks) before your holiday starts. You'll receive an email or app push notification when it's time to book.
