Touring FAQs

Annexes, gazebos, and event shelters

We don’t allow annexes on the touring field, to allow all a comfortable camping area. We do welcome event shelters and gazebos if they fit within your pitch area with your main accommodation. They must be taken down at night.

Awnings

There’s awning space on some pitches and we do allow sleeping in awnings.

Barbecues

Who doesn’t love a barbecue? While sizzling your sausages, remember to stay safe. Please keep barbecues well away from accommodation. They must also be elevated. Be sure that they’re completely put out before you leave them.

Belongings

Please take good care of your belongings and secure any items of value. Guests are responsible for their own property.

Car parking

There is space for one car next to your pitch, and you can park additional cars in the communal car parks.

Check-in time

Your arrival slot will be sent by email 7 days prior to your arrival day.

Checking out

When it’s time to say goodbye, we kindly ask that you please leave your pitch and the park by 10am.

Continental tourers

Continental tourers are welcome on some pitches. Please tell us if you are bringing one so we can add to your booking.

Commercial vehicle

Due to the size of our parking areas, we cannot accept any commercial vehicles.

Dogs

Most breeds of dog are welcome here and can be added to your booking for an additional charge. Please always keep your dog on a lead and clean up after your pet.

Electric connection

Dedicated camping leads are required to connect to our touring electric turrets. For camping, we recommend the use of a connection box utilising an RCD and MCBs. For touring, we recommend leads up to 25m on our larger pitches. Electric connection points are rated at 16 amps maximum.

Electric pitch

Please set up on your allocated pitch number with your jockey wheel or tent door on the numbered paving slab. When setting up, please be mindful that your guy ropes don’t cross onto the pitch next door.

Fire pits

For the safety of all our guests, we cannot allow any ground fires or use of fire pits.

Gas

Run out of gas? No worries – we sell a selection of butane, propane, and camping gas with the option of purchasing a new bottle or exchanging an empty one.

Please note we offer exchange only for the same size of Calor cylinder.

Generators

Please do not use a generator during your stay with us.

Long lets

Are you already planning your next holiday (or five!) with us? A great-value way to enjoy time with us is to take advantage of our monthly let offers. Call our Reception team to find out more.

Pot wash

The pot wash is behind the shower block

Pup Tents

We do allow Pup Tents at this park at a cost, and they must fit within your pitch area alongside your main accommodation.

Shower block

The touring shower block has male and female facilities. We also have a dedicated baby-change room and disabled facilities. The shower block has coded doors (we provide the codes when you check in) and the disabled facilities require a Radar Key. Please note: The facilities may be closed at certain times throughout your stay for cleaning and maintenance.

Supermarket

A small range of touring accessories are available from the Supermarket.

Touring field

The field is flat on a slight slope. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the park main facilities.

Touring warden

We have dedicated touring wardens who are available five days a week. Please contact Reception or call the out-of-hours number for availability times

Waste points

Euro pitches have their own drain point for grey waste. The lower field has three drain points which are also for grey waste. There’s a chemical toilet waste disposal point on the side of the shower block.

Water points

Euro pitches come with individual taps. The lower field’s points have mains-fed cold water taps for serving non-electric pitches. Electric pitches on the lower field have access to nearby taps – these may be shared.
