Sustainability at Haven Haven

Sustainability at Haven

The Haven experience is deeply rooted in the beautiful environments of our parks and our role as caretaker of our local environment is a core part of who we are and one of our key priorities. Whilst you are here on holiday with us, we ask you to think about your impact on the environment, so together, we can work to protect and improve our beautiful locations.

Ways you can help:

Energy Reduction

Please save energy! At Haven we are constantly working hard to reduce our environmental impact, doing what we can to reduce the amount of energy we use and minimise our carbon footprint. Please support us with saving energy where you can whilst on your holiday - from switching off lights every time you leave your holiday home, ensuring all plug sockets are switched off when not in use, to turning down the heating when possible.

Waste

Please recycle! We have allocated bins for recycling and general waste, across our parks, please use the correct bins provided and, please do not leave any litter on the beach or around our park spaces. We work closely with our waste partner Biffa to manage our waste and ensure that we recycle where possible.

Water

Please think about your water consumption whilst you are staying with us! To help our teams manage water consumption please have shorter showers where possible and turn off taps when brushing your teeth and washing up as you could save around 6 litres of water in a single minute.

Biodiversity

Haven owns and manages thousands of acres of biodiversity-rich coastal land and we recognise the vital role we play in continuing to protect and enhance these spaces. Our beautiful parks have fantastic nature-based activities for our guests and owners to get involved in, please book at the activity hub or on the Haven app.
