We know that swimming is one of our most popular activities, so we have done everything we can to ensure as many of our guests get a chance to swim as possible.
I booked a Haven Hideaway. Can I use the swimming pool?
Access to swimming pools is only available if you have a Play Pass, which is not included with a Hideaway booking (Play Passes are automatically included in Haven Holiday package bookings). Find more information about adding a Play Pass.
I have a Play Pass. How do I book swimming?
For indoor swimming, you can book slots before and during your stay. From 28 days (four weeks) before your break start date, you'll be able to pre-book up to 14 swim slots per holiday booking on the My Haven Experience app or at haven.com/experience. You should receive an email or an app push notification when it's time to book. So make sure you're opted in for emails and have your push notification turned on in the app.
You'll also be able to book more slots once you arrive on park, should capacity allow. You can again book via the My Haven Experience app or at haven.com/experience, or visit the on-park Activity Booking Hub or pool reception. Please show your Play Pass on arrival to the pool. Under 5s do not require a Play Pass but will need a swim slot booked for them.
Each swim slot lasts for 60 minutes. It is advisable to arrive to your session pool-ready to make the most of your session. We're able to hold swim slots for up to 15 minutes, however if you fail to show after this time, the swim slot will be cancelled and given to another guest. If you've chosen not to pre-book a swimming session in advance, you can still turn up and use the pool, if there is availability and capacity to do so. Those who have pre-booked will get priority, so there may be a little wait while we check that all guests have arrived for their session.
If you've booked a last-minute break, you may find that there is limited availability of swimming sessions. However, you are able to book as many swimming slots as you like when booking 24 hours in advance of the swimming session (subject to availability and capacity). So please do check availability nearer the time.
There's no booking required to use our outdoor pools which will be open from May half term until the end of August Bank Holiday (weather permitting). So you can simply turn up when you fancy an outdoor swim (subject to availability). If an outdoor pool is linked via an indoor pool at a park, the use of both pools will be available when guests pre-book a swim slot.
What swimming facilities are available at my chosen park?

What restrictions apply to children and non-swimmers in the swimming pool?
A responsible adult must accompany any child under the age of eight years old and any child who is a non-swimmer under the age of 14 years old.
The adult must remain in the water with the child at all times. An adult may not accompany more than two children at any one time.
All children, as highlighted above, are required to wear a site-issued orange wrist band whilst using our swimming pools.
Height restrictions will apply for flumes or slides. Check before use.
Non or weak swimmers must not go out of their depth. See all health and safety information here.
Does the pool have a lifeguard?
All pools are provided with fully qualified lifeguards who are there for your safety – please follow their instructions at all times.
Can I invite outside guests to use the pool?
Only guests staying on-park and in possession of Play Passes are able to use the swimming facilities.
