Haven Flexi Plan - Standard – what is it?

The “Haven Flexi Plan - Standard (HFPS)” ensures, that in the unfortunate event that you cancel your holiday, you’ll be potentially eligible for either a partial or full refund of your booking value (minus the cost of the plan and the holiday booking deposit).

This plan is replacing the previous Haven Holiday Protection (HHP) so if you made your booking before 10th December 2025 and chose to take the HHP, this will be moved over to the HFPS with the new cancellation and amendment terms below.


What do I get back if I need to cancel my holiday with Haven Flexi Plan - Standard

Cancel for any reason:

  • Cancelling less than 7 days before arrival: No refunds, balance transfers or amendments permitted
  • Cancelling between 8 - 28 days before arrival: 20% refund of booking value (inclusive of any deposit paid, and amount paid for the Holiday Flexi Plan)
  • Cancelling between 29 - 69 days before arrival: 50% refund of booking value (inclusive of any deposit paid, and amount paid for the Haven Flexi Plan)
  • Cancelling between 70 days before arrival: 100% refund of booking value (minus any deposit paid and amount paid for the Haven Flexi Plan)


How is Haven Flexi Plan - Standard different from Haven Holiday Protection?

We have changed the cancellation plan to make it simpler to understand and easier to claim your refund if you do need to cancel. We no longer require documentation to prove the reason for your cancellation in order to issue your refund. Taking the Haven Flexi Plan - Standard also provides benefits for amendments, allowing you a longer window of time if you need to make any changes to the date, duration or park for your booking.

I booked with Haven Holiday Protection, what do I need to do now?

If you booked before 15th December 2025 with Haven Holiday Protection on your booking, we have sent you an email to confirm that the cancellation plan has changed. The change will happen automatically and you will be able to see the new name of your protection against your booking in My Account.


You have three options:

  • Continue with your holiday and the plan will be amended automatically from Haven Holiday Protection to the Haven Flexi Plan - Standard. You do not need to do anything or contact us.
  • Remove the Haven Flexi Plan - Standard from your booking. If you no longer wish to have this, you have the option to remove the plan. Please use the form link in the email we have sent to you, and we will remove the HFPS and refund you the amount you paid for the HHP at the time of booking.
  • Cancel your holiday. If you do not agree to the change in cancellation plan and no longer wish to travel, you have the option to cancel your booking with a full refund. Please use the form link in the email we have sent to you to cancel your booking.


Please note, if you choose to remove the flexi plan or cancel your holiday, you must do this by 14th January 2026. After this date, the cancellation plan cannot be removed, and any cancellations will be charged as per our terms and conditions. If you do remove the Haven Flexi Plan - Standard but continue with your holiday, you will no longer be eligible for a refund if you need to cancel your booking.
